Privacy Policy
Effective November 4, 2026
Signetly ("Signetly", "we", "us") is an electronic signature service operated by R & R Services and Company LLC, Tampa, Florida, USA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Signetly you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Documents and form data — PDF files you upload, create, import, or scan with the service, the fields placed on them, and the values entered into those fields.
- Signer information — the names and email addresses of people you send documents to, their signature and initials images (drawn or typed), and the values they enter.
- Audit trail — for each envelope we record events such as sent, viewed, and signed, with timestamps and IP addresses. This audit trail is part of the legal evidence of signing and is attached to completed documents as a Certificate of Completion.
- Technical data — the minimum data needed to operate and secure the service (for example, session cookies and request logs).
2. Google user data
If you connect your Google account, Signetly requests only the following permissions:
- Google Drive (read-only) — to list your PDF files so you can pick files to import into Signetly, and to download only the files you select.
- Google Drive (create files) — to save copies of your documents into a folder named "Signetly" in your Drive, only when you ask us to export or save a document there.
- Gmail (read-only) — to list PDF attachments in your mailbox so you can pick attachments to import, and to download only the attachments you select. We do not read message content for any other purpose.
- Basic profile (email address) — to show which Google account is connected.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the features above. We do not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Human access to Google user data is limited to cases where you give explicit consent, where required for security (for example, investigating abuse), or where required by law.
Signetly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect Google at any time from inside Signetly, and you can revoke Signetly's access at any time in your Google Account settings. Disconnecting stops all further access; documents you already imported remain in your Signetly workspace until you delete them.
3. How we use information
- To operate the service: preparing, sending, signing, storing, and delivering your documents.
- To send signing invitations, reminders, and completion notifications by email.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To protect the security and integrity of the service and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to run Signetly (for example, our email delivery provider, solely to send the emails described above).
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure. Passwords are stored as salted PBKDF2 hashes. Optional signing access codes are stored only as hashes. Data is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
5. Retention and deletion
You can delete envelopes and templates from your workspace at any time. Completed documents and their audit trails may be retained as required for the legal validity of the signatures they evidence. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below; we will complete the request within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we will honor them.
7. Cookies
Signetly uses only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Children
Signetly is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, and material changes will be announced in the app.
